1.7. Sample Implementation: Address Book
This example shows Live Lookups flexibility. It's often desirable to be able to quickly set a TO/CC/BCC for a note. This sample shows how to use Live Lookup to create a simple address book for commonly used email addresses.
This sample creates a list of email addresses which can be clicked to be inserted as a TO/CC/BCC. The list of addresses are static in this example, but could easily be pulled from a dynamic source such as AD/LDAP, a database, etc. It would also be easy to modify this example to display more information than just the persons name.
Installation
- Upload the file on your web server in an HTTP accessible location.
- In Admin->Settings->Live Lookup and configure a new source for the file.
- The address book will now be available for staff use
