Who Needs a License?
HelpSpot license pricing is calculated on a named user basis. Named Users are defined as those needing log-on access to HelpSpot for managing requests, being assigned requests, or modify administrative settings. Only active staff members count towards the license total. If a staff member is marked inactive their license slot can be reused.
Customers do not need licenses and there are no limits on how many requests you can track in the system.
License Examples
5 staffers: Simply purchase 5 single licenses
17 staffers: Purchase 1 - 10 pack and 7 single licenses
50 staffers: Purchase 1 - 50 license pack
Lock in support costs: All new installations come with 1 year of free support. Purchase an additional year initially to have 2 full years of support/upgrades.
Support Contracts
To benefit from the purchase of a support contract (which includes support and all upgrades), all licenses held by an installation must be current.
